Partall^® Coverall Film is the new non-hazardous, low VOC water-based polyvinyl alcohol (PVA - Parting Film) coating that acts as a barrier between parts and reactive mold surfaces.  Partall^® Coverall Film is also recommended for use on seasoned molds as extra protection against demolding problems.  Higher solids content aids production efficiency by providing greater protection with fewer coats applied saving labor, time and material. Improved formulation enhances use - no fisheyes or cob webbing, self-leveling and faster dry film build up. The higher viscosity of Partall^® Coverall Film allows application by brush, roller, sponge or cloth as well as excellent spray characteristics. Available in purple or clear for manufacturers concerned with color transfer. Packaged in 1-gallon, 5-gallon and 55-gallon container sizes and in 1-quart on special order.

Partall^® Film #10 is a water/alcohol-based polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) mold release agent that forms a barrier between parts and mold surfaces that are still curing (green or recently reconditioned molds can be reactive).  Partall^® Film #10, the original green parting film, is resistant to solvents and styrene yet is water soluble. Protects against mold hang ups with polyester and vinylester resins; also used with epoxy and urethane resins. PVA is most commonly applied over mold release wax although some users find success by adding wax over the PVA film (giving a second part cycle before replacing PVA.) Partall^® Film #10 can also be used as a surface cure agent during gel coat repairs (locks out moisture in the air that inhibits resin cure). Now improved for easier lay out, Partall^® Film #10 allows application by brush, roller, sponge or cloth as well as excellent spray characteristics. Available in green or clear (water-white). Packaged in 1-gallon, 5-gallon and 55-gallon container sizes.

Partall^® OCF-55 and Partall^® X-08 are specialty water/alcohol-based polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) mold release agents that form a barrier between parts and mold surfaces. Solvent resistant yet water soluble. These film forming parting agents have a higher alcohol content for faster drying and are designed for non-cosmetic part finish and application with pressure-pot/roller, brush, sponge or cloth. The original Dome End PVA created for Owens Corning Fiberglass, Partall^® OCF-55 and Partall^® X-08 are blue in color and available in 55-gal. drums.

Partall^® One-Coat is a PVA coating that contains 2 – 3 times the solids content of standard PVA giving it a thick viscosity that builds quickly. Commonly used as parting film between polyester, vinylester or epoxy resins and various mold surfaces or as a release barrier when making rigid support shells for elastomeric rubber molds. Partall One-Coat releases easily from mold or part surface or application equipment by peeling off in a continuous skin or by dissolving with water and scrubbing with a soft bristle brush or sponge.
